While the lip sweat inducing summer sun began to cool, we hibernated into Orange Light Studios. OLS started as a practice pad full of oddly colored lighting, then soon blossomed into so much more. Walls padded, amps mic'd, and vocals in a bathroom, we were ready to create, what seemed like, an album in the making of our own heads for years, but finally found the right people to complete the first major step: recording melodic frames of time. Love in the Dark is the product of six determined, young musicians who were able to capture a beautiful span of three months, and are ever so thankful of the opportunity. So thank you for your constant support, we thrive off of it.

LOCAL LOOP CHICAGO --Funk music is having the long-awaited revival it deserves....Their own flavor of funk makes “Colorblind Mastermind” explode with energy from beginning to end. A grizzly guitar riff, emanating the likes of Robby Krieger or Lenny Kravitz, pounds at the heart of the track, while the horns strengthen a solid, bass groove and McLaughlin’s vocals.
Mixing classic funk with garage rock breakdowns is truly inspired. Love in the Dark’s dive into funk’s past-present showcases the potential for more.
